Bedni Bugyal boasts being one of the most scenic places to visit in Uttarakhand. Situated at an elevation of about 3354m above the sea level, the meadows are located in the Chamoli District of Garhwal Region. Popular amongst the trekkers who stop here to camp on its velvety grass, Bedni looks nothing short of a slice of heaven. Strategically located en route the famed Roopkund trek, these scenic meadows perfectly represent the unspoiled and pristine beauty of Uttarakhand. There is a coniferous forest on the slopes and the small lake named Vaitarani (Bedini Kund), situated amidst the meadows that eventually add to the prettiness of the place. Apart from its landscape’s beauty, Bedni Bugyal has great religious importance as its Bedini Kund is the stopover for the famed pilgrimage of Nanda Devi Raj Jaat Yatra that is held once in every 12 years. Near the Kund blossoms the famed lotus known as Brahma Kamal that finds its mention in the Hindu Scripture as the Lotus that is in the hands of Brahma (the Creator of the Universe). Further enhancing the spiritual charm are westward located Nanda Ghunti and Trishul mountains and small temple where Tarpans are offered. Bedni Bugyal is an important stop for the Roopkund trek. One-day halt is fixed here at Bedni for most of trekking tours via the meadow. If the veteran trekkers are to be believed, Bedni is one of the most beautiful sites for camping in Garhwal Region. Watching sunrise and the sunset at Bedni Bugyal is one of the best and unforgettable experiences for any nature lover.

'Maha Aarti' happens every evening at Triveni Ghat. Triveni Ghat plays an essential role in Hindu Mythology and is also mentioned in the epics Ramayan and Mahabharat. The Triveni Ghat is also where the chattri of Lord Krishna was constructed. In fact, the ghat is considered to be the cremation ground for the great Lord Krishna. Along with the holy dips, the devotees also make offerings to the river in the form of milk, while feeding the fishes in the Ghat too.

We understand that plans can change, and sometimes it becomes necessary to cancel a trek. Below is our refund policy outlining the refundable amounts based on the cancellation period:

  • Initial Payment: The initial payment of Rs.1500 is non-refundable and will not be eligible for any refund.
  • Cancellation within 7 Days: If the trek is canceled within 7 days prior to the scheduled trek start date, a refund of 50% of the total amount paid, will be issued.
  • Cancellation within 3 Days: If the trek is canceled within 3 days prior to the scheduled trek start date, a refund of 25% of the total amount paid, will be issued.
  • Cancellation 1 Day Prior: No refund will be provided for cancellations made 1 day prior to the scheduled trek start date. The total amount paid, excluding the non-refundable initial payment, will be non-refundable.
  • Cancellation 1 Day Prior: No refund will be provided for cancellations made 1 day prior to the scheduled trek start date. The total amount paid, excluding the non-refundable initial payment, will be non-refundable.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the booking process.
  • Refunds will be processed within 4 business days from the date of cancellation request.
  • Any applicable bank or transaction fees incurred during the refund process will be deducted from the refundable amount.
